Baptism!

SO, this week was pretty awesome We had a baptism. I don't know if you remember about a young man named Jonathan well he decided to get baptized. It's awesome. It was a fantastic experience. He was so happy to get baptized. He's such an awesome guy. Other than that the week was just a normal week just trying to get everything in that we need to do. There is so little time and so much to do.

Thanks for doing my college registration. I feel a little bit better with all that done. I can't believe I'm coming up on changes again it seems just like yesterday we had changes the time is going so fast. I'm pretty sure I'll stay, but we will see.

I know how you feel mom. So many people would come back to church if we would just do our visits so ALWAYS DO YOUR VISITS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another Week!

Well, this week was awesome. We keep teaching and finding. We found a family that is super receptive and I'm pretty sure they are an answer to my prayers. They were brought to church by members, and we contacted them there. They accepted us, and a lesson for that day. The lesson went super awesome and they understood everything and the spirit was strong. The funny thing is the members who brought them to church had only known them for like 3 days. And the dad they meet 30 minutes before church started! Remember missionary work is not only for those who you know; it is for everyone!!!!!!!!!!! Well, that's awesome that Matt got married. I was thinking a lot about him this week.  I'm glad to see him so happy. So don't delete the pictures just yet, our internet is being super slow and I can't see the all pictures. So i forgot to tell you that last week I went to the dentist and got my teeth cleaned. Turns out I have a lot of cavities. Do you want me to take care of them here or when I get home? It's 60 soles for a cavity about 20 dollars.

First off AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't believe Shelby is going to BYU with me!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm super excited about that. I can't believe that happened. What a blessing. I'm smiling from ear to ear right now. Dad is awesome he can do anything. 

Well, here is a story from this week. First off, we were walking down the street in Cusco and it was dark. Down the street we saw some big dogs. 4 of them. Elder A.said wow I feel surrounded. They must of heard us because they all started chasing us at once. I thought that was the end. I was going to die from being eaten by dog. Luckily Elder A. was carrying water and he squirted them and they ran away.

Today we went to a ruin.  We were trying to sneak in. Now, I know we shouldn't do that but its like 70 soles. I ain't got that kind of money.

This Saturday I had a strong feeling to pray for a family Juan and Yina. I don't know why but while my companion  was in the bathroom I prayed for them. We hadn't had much success with them. We went there in the night for a plan B and it turns out that they are going to get married. The husband wants to get baptized, but he didn't want to get married. Well, now he wants to. Hopefully we can keep that fire burning. 

The work is moving along. I love this work. I cant believe Matt is going to get married. Where did the time go? Tell Matt to write me.
